Office 365 is Now Available for Students
Morningstar Christian Academy (MSCA) is excited to announce the availability to use Microsoft Office 365. Because of MSCA’s education agreement with Microsoft, all students are able to use Office 365 online for FREE! This is very exciting as it will provide students with access to current digital tools to use at school and at home on any device connected to the Internet. With Office 365, learning possibilities are limitless! There is also the option of having access to desktop apps, please scroll to the bottom to read more.

Productivity Tools
- Desktop version of OneNote
- Access to Office Online (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)
- Access to Sway (presentation tool) and other educational tools as they become available and approved
- Microsoft Outlook
- A student’s email address is firstname.lastname@morningstar-christian-academy.com (Example: bob.smith@morningstar-christian-academy.com).
- An official school email address will allow for better communication between students and teachers. School announcements and reminders will be able to be disseminated faster and more efficiently.
- Email messages may be reviewed by the District at any time
- School email addresses are a privilege that may be revoked.

How does my child access his/her account?
- Open a web browser. Go to http://portal.office.com
- Login using this format:
- Username: firstname.lastname@morningstar-christian-academy.com
- Password: Will be provided to students & parents via info packet
- All the online apps that students can access will be shown on the login landing page.
Desktop Access:
For $6.00 a Month per Student access to the Desktop versions of Office apps (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) can be made available.
